Sprunki Wenda: Knife Defense

Sprunki Wenda: Knife Defense puts a throwable knife between you and six advancing horror characters. Pull back, aim, and release to knock them out before an active enemy reaches the dashed line at the bottom. Wenda leads the attack, with Simon, Durple, and a skull-faced Black appearing through the short encounter. This fan game by @DR4G0N is a compact aiming challenge built around projectile arcs and rebounds.

The pressure comes from moving targets, not a complicated control scheme. Enemies keep descending while you line up a throw, and the knife has to leave the playfield before a fresh one returns to its starting position. A missed shot therefore costs more than accuracy: it gives the next attacker time to close the gap.

Pull Back, Release, and Watch the Rebound

Press the knife near its blade, drag backward from the direction you want to shoot, and release. An aiming arrow appears while you hold. Pulling down sends the knife upward; adding a sideways angle lets you reach the left or right lane. Touch dragging is the verified control method.

Pull distance matters. Shorter pulls can send the knife back down before it reaches a distant enemy, while a longer pull gives the shot more reach. The side obstacles also deflect it, so the knife's first path is only part of the throw. A rebound can carry it across the arena, but it can also leave you waiting for the next usable knife.

The clearest feedback is the enemy's reaction: an ordinary target tumbles away after a hit. The remaining-enemy counter drops when that target leaves the screen, rather than immediately when the blade touches it. Watch both the character and the number before deciding whether another throw is needed.

From Wenda and Simon to the Final Target

The opening places Wenda on the left and Simon farther back on the right. Durple follows through the center. Later, two Wenda figures descend together, with the larger skull-faced target behind them. That paired approach is the encounter's most demanding change: concentrating on one side gives the other attacker time to reach the bottom.

A useful approach is to handle the closest threat first, then aim toward the opposite lane as soon as the knife resets. Against the central Durple, a straighter throw is easier to line up than a wide bank shot. During the paired approach, keep checking the survivor instead of continuing to fire into the lane you just cleared. The same opening returns after a retry, giving you a chance to improve a specific shot rather than learn an entirely new arrangement.

If an active enemy reaches the bottom boundary, a game-over panel reports how many zombies remained and offers Retry. Clearing the encounter brings the counter to zero and raises a red flag with a “You won!” message. Play again restarts the same six-enemy challenge.

A Small Arena with a Sharp Focus

The dark green corridor, gray side barriers, red-eyed shapes below the line, and blood-marked character art give the game its horror identity. Large, exaggerated faces make Wenda, Simon, and Durple easy to distinguish even as the action becomes crowded. The unsettling imagery is much more prominent than any story.

Its appeal is learning a small set of throws under pressure. Its limitation is the equally small scope: this is one replayable encounter, and learning pull distance takes some trial and error because the opening gives little explanation. Players who enjoy quick retries and physical aiming have a clear challenge to work through; those looking for a long campaign will reach the end quickly once the shots click.
