AY in Tick Drop! [MY uae_flag]

AY in Tick Drop! [MY uae_flag] by @uae_flag puts 20 cartoon contestants on suspended platforms around a giant counter. Each round, their button decisions determine how far the ring moves. One character falls, the survivors spread out again, and the show continues until a single contestant remains.

This version is an automated elimination simulation. Start it with the green flag, pick someone to follow, and watch their fortunes change. The characters make the press-or-skip decisions themselves; hovering over them reveals their names. Its appeal comes from the mixed cast and the suspense of the final few movements.

How the Buttons and Turn Counter Work

The two rows on the central display track different things. PLAYERS shows how many contestants remain. TURNS counts the movements generated for the current round, rather than rounds already completed.

During the decision phase, contestants randomly press their buttons or abstain. A press changes their pose and adds one turn. Once that phase finishes, the ring advances through the accumulated movements while TURNS counts down toward zero. The gaps between movements grow as the counter approaches zero, giving the final steps a more deliberate rhythm than the opening shuffle.

The danger is the position at the bottom front of the ring. When movement finishes, the contestant there tilts, shakes and falls away. The player count decreases by one, the remaining characters rearrange around the ring, and another decision phase begins. A character who was safe a moment ago can arrive at the dropping position after the next round's movements.

The useful controls are simple:

  • Green flag: start a fresh tournament or restart after a result.
  • Hover over a contestant: display that character's name.

Following the counter is more useful than repeatedly clicking the platform buttons. There is no timing strategy for steering your chosen contestant in this version; the uncertainty comes from the automated decisions and changing arrangement.

A Crowded Cast That Becomes Easier to Follow

The roster mixes names such as Uae, Cubey, Bluu, Jerry, Dina, Scribbley, India and Catto. Visually, flag characters, geometric objects, stick figures and more detailed designs share the same industrial stage. Uae's rectangular flag design and Cubey's cyan cube give you particularly clear shapes to track among the busier silhouettes.

The opening is crowded. Large characters overlap nearby platforms and sometimes obscure part of the central display. Hovering helps identify unfamiliar contestants; reading their names is easiest during the pauses between movements. Choosing one recognizable shape before the first few eliminations makes the spectacle easier to read.

Later rounds naturally improve that readability. With fewer survivors, there is more space between them, and each move has a clearer consequence. The game keeps the same basic round structure throughout; the change comes from seeing fewer possible victims around the counter.

Following a Tournament to Its Result

In one complete run, the final pair was Dina and Jerry. Dina reached the dropping position, tilted and disappeared, leaving Jerry alone for the celebration. A fresh tournament ended with Cubey as the survivor instead. Those two results show why a restart can be interesting even though the rules stay the same.

The result screen leaves the winner on a single platform, with the player counter at one and TURNS at zero. Confetti marks the finish. The visible “Now Playing” label also changes between gameplay and results, and different runs can display different track selections.

The green flag restores the full cast and starts another arrangement. This is a good fit for following a favorite character through a self-running elimination show. Its limits are equally clear: the early crowd can be hard to read, and viewers wanting direct control over the outcome will find little to influence. The strongest moments arrive near the end, when every remaining movement could send the character you have been following to the front.
